SOLO
ALUT – Algarviana Ultra Trail – is a recreational/sports pedestrian event, in nature, taking place almost entirely in Via Algarviana. Its 6th edition will take place between the 30th of November and the 3rd of December 2023. The race will start on the 30th of November, at the Alcoutim pier, at 2 pm, both for solo athletes and relays. ALUT is organized by ATR – Associação Algarve Trail Running in partnership with RTA – Algarve Tourism Board, with ANA – Aeroportos de Portugal and with the institutional partnership of Almargem – Association for the Defense of Cultural and Environmental Heritage of the Algarve, an entity managing the Via Algarviana, and all the municipalities crossed by the route. TEAM X4
By relay, participation is done in teams, which can be male, female or mixed, compulsorily made up of 4 elements. Following the following rules:
Athletes depart at the same time as solo athletes;
Athletes arrive at the base of the transition and the segment time is recorded;
The relay athletes of the following segment, all leave together, at the time indicated by the regulation;
The team with the least accumulated time wins;
All segments will have an ITRA score.
Registered teams must provide their own transport between the life bases for their elements. The organization is not responsible for this transport. During the race, only one element can be in competition.
