SOLO
THE ALUT – ALGARVIANA ULTRA TRAIL – is a trail running sports event that takes place throughout the majority of the pedestrian VIA ALGARVIANA trail. The 6th edition will take place between the 28th of November and the 1st of December of 2024. The race will start on the 28th of November from the fortress in Sagres, at 14h30, for both the solo athletes and the relay teams. The ALUT is organized by ATR – Algarve Trail Running with the institutional partnership of Almargem, which is the managing entity for the Via Algarviana, as also by all of the municipalities that the Via Algarviana crosses.

TEAM X4
By relay, participation is done in teams, which can be male, female or mixed, compulsorily made up of 4 elements. Following the following rules:
Athletes depart at the same time as solo athletes;
Athletes arrive at the base of the transition and the segment time is recorded;
The relay athletes of the following segment, all leave together, at the time indicated by the regulation;
The team with the least accumulated time wins;
All segments will have an ITRA score.
Registered teams must provide their own transport between the life bases for their elements. The organization is not responsible for this transport. During the race, only one element can be in competition.
